Your payments are secure and protected by two of the largest and most trustworthy payment processors in the world.
Your payments will be processed either by PayPal (if you choose) or by Stripe. Plain English does not ever see or hold your payment details.
We want every member to be happy with their Plain English subscriptions. If you find that Plain English does not meet your needs within 30 days of joining, please send us a note and we will refund your first payment. To be fair to all members, we cannot offer refunds after the first 30 days.

There is no contract or commitment. You can cancel at any time with just a few clicks and you will not be charged again.

You can cancel your membership at any time via a self-service account page. There is no waiting period, penalty, or contract.
Yes!
It’s easy to switch plans on your account page. If you choose to move from one paid plan to another (or from a monthly to an annual subscription), your account will be credited with the amount you have already paid for that current period.
Plain English Plus+ and Starter subscriptions are offered on a subscription basis.
If you prefer to avoid recurring charges, we recommend that you sign up for an annual membership and then cancel the recurring payments.
There are three live conversation calls per month included in the Plus+ membership:
- One Tuesday afternoon in the Americas (evening in Europe)
- One Tuesday evening in the Americas (Wednesday morning in Asia)
- One Saturday morning in the Americas (afternoon in Europe, evening in Asia)
The exact dates and times are posted approximately one month in advance. The calls are on Zoom.
