This is a great way to say that things will continue as they always have. In today’s episode, I asked whether anything would change in the drug trade as a result of El Chapo’s conviction—or if it would be business as usual. Unfortunately, for the drug cartels, it’s business as usual, since they don’t need El Chapo to success. Remember the episode about the polar vortex in Chicago? Many places shut down, but for the hospitals, police, and other essential services, it was business as usual, since some people needed to work no matter what.
