Behind the scenes

“Behind the scenes” refers to anything that is happening out of the public view. There’s also a lot of new computing going on “behind the scenes:” artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data centers, streaming, machine learning, and bitcoin mining all require intensive computing power. All of those things are happening “behind the scenes,” or out of the public view. Many things go on “behind the scenes” of big sports events, everything from ticket sales to coordinating half-time show performers.
