Block something from your mind

In today’s episode, I said that I fly a lot, so I’m just going to block this news from my mind. (In fact, I’m writing this summary on a Boeing 737, but an older model without the software problems we talk about today.) When you block something from your mind, you purposely don’t think about it. My taxes are due on April 15; I’ve been blocking that from my mind for a couple of months now. I have purposely not thought about it.
