Cash grab

A “cash grab” is an attempt to make money fast, usually using a low-quality product that was hastily thrown together for the sole reason of making money. A reviewer at the Boston Globe newspaper called one exhibition a “cynical cash grab,” or just an attempt to make money fast. The copycat version of the game was just a “cash grab” by the company.
