Decked out

To be “decked out” means to be decorated or dressed in something special. Demonstrators “decked out” in the Canadian flag and other patriotic gear swarmed the streets of Ottawa. Demonstrators were specially dressed in patriotic gear. The men were “decked out” in tuxedos and the women in fur for the fancy event. The room was “decked out” with hundreds of lights for the high school prom night.
