Fleeting moment

A “fleeting moment” is something that lasts a very short period of time. In a joint statement issued Sunday, April 12, the 12 Super League clubs promised to “deliver excitement and drama never before seen in football.” And for a “fleeting moment,” or for a short time period, they delivered on that promise. Last week, the weather was nice and I went outside for a walk. There were many other people outside enjoying the weather, and for a “fleeting moment,” things felt normal again.
