Get turned around

To “get turned around” means to get lost or lose your way. Google overlays the directions on top of the camera, showing you which road is where, and where you need to walk. That way, if you “get turned around,” or if you lose your way, you can open Live View, and quickly see which way you need to walk. The student “got turned around” walking through the massive campus.
