Graying population

A “graying population” refers to an increase in the number and proportion of older persons in a population. It is also called an “aging population.” Florida, despite its “graying population,” was not badly affected by the first wave of the coronavirus. Japan and the US are known for having graying populations, or an increasing number of elderly people.
