To be “on the fence” about something means you’re not able to decide what to do. If you’re “on the fence” about it, I would encourage you to give it a try. If you’re unable to decide what to do, I would encourage you to give it a try. The high school senior is still “on the fence” about which school he wants to attend in the fall.
