Today you heard that Nike stuck with Tiger Woods, even during his worst moments. To stick with someone means to remain loyal to that person; to stand by that person; to not abandon him or her. Many of Tiger’s sponsors did not stick with him; in fact, many dropped him shortly after news of his scandal broke. However, Nike stuck with him and it was their logo on his cap when he completed his comeback at the Master’s in 2019.
