Today on Plain English, you’ll hear that one of Redoine Faid’s robberies went awry, and a police officer was shot in a gunfight. When a plan goes awry, the plan gets messed up; the plan does not work as intended. Faid’s plan was to rob the car and escape; however, the plan went awry and there was a gunfight instead. My plan to record three episodes over the weekend went awry when my allergies still hadn’t gotten better. Instead, I just recorded one episode.
