Let’s say someone has an opinion or is making an argument. If you think that person is right (or partially right), you say that person has a point. The mayor of Tijuana says that his city cannot support the thousands of migrants who arrived from Central America. In today’s episode, I said that he has a point. That’s because cities are not equipped to deal with large national issues like immigration, and Tijuana’s own citizens have their own needs.
