To “tweak” something means to improve it by making small adjustments to it. In today’s episode, many of the direct-to-consumer companies are known for collecting feedback from their early customers and only manufacturing product in small quantities. The companies then use the feedback to quickly improve, or “tweak,” their products. A writer may go back and “tweak” some of her work during the final editing process.
