Election could shape Britain’s politics for a decade

Britain's historic election will upset the balance of power in Parliament, as the Tories will have an 80-seat majority to press their Brexit plans. The opposition Labour party ran on a laundry-list of proposals that confused and overwhelmed voters. The Scottish National Party won big, further isolating Scotland from the rest of the UK. And the Liberal Democrats, once a credible third party alternative, were reduced to only 11 seats. Plus, learn the English phrase "for good measure."
