Plain English helps intermediate English learners upgrade their skills in English with lessons about current events, trending topics, and English expressions.

Each week, we produce two sets of lessons. The lesson topics are based on current events and culture. Each lesson also includes a discussion of an English expression of phrasal verb.

The lessons are audio lessons with full transcripts. Members listen to Plain English lessons on the web site or on podcast apps. The audio is at a slower speed to help learners understand every word.

Members of Plain English Plus+ also get access to more advanced learning resources to help them make faster progress.
