“Family-friendly” describes something that is appropriate for kids. You can use this with activities or movies. For example, the new “Barbie” movie is based on a toy, but it’s not a family-friendly movie because it has some adult language in it. However, the Disney movie “Elemental” is family-friendly. It’s for kids and adults.
Minor-league baseball is considered a “family-friendly” activity. There are games and mascots for kids. It’s safe and good for adults and families. Some stadiums will have “family-friendly” sections that specifically prohibit alcohol sales.
If you see the word “family-friendly” label somewhere, that indicates to you that the activity is appropriate for kids.
