One informal way to describe your interests is to say that you’re “into” something. You might say that you’re “into” sports if you’re a sports fan. You could say you’re into classical music if you’re interested in classical music.

As a kid, were you into cars? That means, “were you interested in cars as a kid?” That’s the question we asked in today’s story. If you were into cars as a kid, you probably recognize the “Hot Wheels” brand from Mattel.

You can use this in the negative, too. “I’m not really into cars” means, “I’m not very interested in cars.”
