Roadblock

A “roadblock” is anything that stops progress or prevents accomplishment of an objective. There are also literal roadblocks, or physical barricades that block access to a road, but we are talking about figurative roadblocks. In the episode, we said that deciding to start a task is often what keeps procrastinators from progressing. Starting a task is often a “roadblock” for procrastinators. Recently, getting access to coronavirus tests was a “roadblock” for many states in providing accurate coronavirus case estimates.
