Stars are aligned

“The stars are aligned” is a way of saying that everything is in the right place and things are working out well. It’s like when you’re playing a game, and all the pieces are in the perfect position for you to win. So, if someone says, “The stars are aligned for our project to succeed,” it means that things are going really well for the project at that moment.

In today’s lesson, you heard that almost everyone in the movie business wants to make shorter movies: producers, movie theaters, even consumers want shorter movies. So everything is in the right place to make movies shorter, right?
