If they leave, or if they play fewer games in their national leagues, those leagues will be watered-down. That means they will be less powerful, less strong. Think of your favorite cocktail — maybe you like a martini or a gin-and-tonic or just a shot of tequila. Now picture your favorite drink with a lot of water added. Yeah — less powerful.
