Before we start the challenge, you’re going to want to sign up for ChatGPT. (Already signed up? You can skip this topic.)

Signup is easy, but you should do it before June 5 so that you’re ready to start the activities on the first day.

Here are the instructions on how to sign up:

1. Visit this link: https://chat.openai.com/auth/login
2. Click “Sign up”
3. Enter your e-mail address or login with another service
4. That’s it

Troubleshooting

It’s possible that ChatGPT is not available in your country. If that’s the case, we can’t provide specific help, but we can offer the following tips:

• Try using a VPN to connect
• Instead of accessing ChatGPT, you can access a third-party app on an app store that uses OpenAI’s GPT model. These provide similar (or identical) results and may not have the same security restrictions
• You may be asked to verify your phone number. This only happens once, so you can use your phone number or the number of a friend in another country.
